Atlanta


Atlanta may be a largely car-centric city, but it offers a surprising number of well-loved routes and communities for runners. Runners frequently take to the the Atlanta BeltLine, a scenic network of multi-use trails connecting vibrant neighborhoods, or Piedmont Park, the city’s green heart offering rolling paths, skyline views, and easy trail connections. Atlanta Track Club is one of the largest running organizations in the U.S., hosting numerous events year-round, including the Peachtree Road Race, a July 4th tradition and the largest 10K race in the world. Atlanta’s social running scene is booming, reflecting the city’s growing appreciation for movement, community, and outdoor spaces. There are run clubs for every kind of runner, from runners chasing road miles, or seeking quiet, wooded trails, to those who simply want a relaxed jog followed by coffee, beer, or conversation.
